Plan Lafayette: ReEnvision Natural Resources
Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM (CST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Reenvision Natural Resources, the second of the four "big ideas," emphasizes the importance of Lafayette’s environmental climate. By smartly leveraging indigenous natural resources, promoting the beautification of the community, and implementing "green" infrastructure improvements; Lafayette will find opportunities in environmental challenges.
Key action items include:
Improving the health of the Bayou Vermilion
Strengthening stormwater management and protection from flooding using Green Infrastructure
Developing policies and programs that lead to a more beautiful and attractive Lafayette
Because many of the action items around Reenvision Natural Resources impact the ability of business to operate in an efficient manner, the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA) proved a logical partner for PlanLafayette Week activities.
