Join city and regional leaders for an audience-interactive panel discussion with reknowned urbanist Gil Penalosa about placemaking and the future of the downtown Minneapolis public realm. In addition to Penalosa, panelists will include Ward 3 Council Member Jacob Frey; President and CEO of Minneapolis Downtown Council Steve Cramer; Founding CEO of Greater MSP Michael Langley; Executive Director of Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition Ethan Fawley; State Director of the Trust for Public Land Susan Schmidt; and Assistant Superintendant for Planning at the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board Bruce Chamberlain. The discussion will be moderated by Kjersti Monson, Director of Long Range Planning, City of Minneapolis.

This event is free and open to all, but is limited to available seats.
