Learn how to pitch your business plan to mock investors, venture capital firms and the experts. Join us for this exciting event to learn more about being an Entrepreneur.
Sharpen your plan and presentation skills as you receive expert feedback on how to pitch your ideas from our special guest speaker, Rey Ybarra, author of Communications with the Shark Tank Contestants. On a Webcast, Rey and the contestants of the renowned Shark Tank television show will share their views on what successful presenters do in pitching their business plans. Ask questions to learn the techniques and tips that the Shark Tank contestants have used in their successful business plan pitches.
Rey Ybarra is the author/producer of the multimedia book Conversations with Shark Tank Winners and the creator/host of The Conversations with Shark Tank Winners online reality TV series produced at the Pax Stereo TV studio. He is a multimedia professional with over 18 plus years’ experience in all facets of media. He is currently producing the follow up to his multimedia book due out early 2015.

Workshop One: Developing your business plan.
A business plan explains to an investor who has no prior knowledge of your product or business. Being able to answer these basic questions from your plan is key to making a good pitch.
- What is your product or service?
- How and where you are going to make it?
- How are you going to sell it?
- Your assessment of the competition and why yours is better?
- How much money are you going to need to start it?
- Does the business have a sustainable future?
Workshop Two: Pitch your plan.
Learn how to answer these essential questions that will advance your business ideas into action.
- Do the products serve a function?
- Does it solve a problem?
- It is unique?
- Do people want or need it?
- Is it demonstrable?
- Can you sell it at a reasonable price?
- Is it a consumable?
- Does it pose no obvious danger to the public?
- Do you have a patent or patents?
- Does it appeal to a wide age range of people?
After attending this Entrepreneurial Event, you will have the opportunity to pitch your business plan at a follow up session. This session will allow you to pitch your plan to a panel of mock investors and depending on the quality of your presentation you will have the opportunity to spend time with one of the expert panel members.
