Need money for your business? Here’s your opportunity to get an investment in your business. Pitch your idea to a panel of Venture Capital Investors moderated by Victor Green. You will have a 5 minute opportunity to pitch to the investors. Make sure your presentation includes everything about your business and then be prepared to answer questions. There is a strict limit of 8 that can pitch per session. If you do not want to pitch, you can still attend this session and be part of the audience. If you would like to pitch at this session (room permitting) or a future session, please email Christina Stace at Christina.stace@sba.gov with your name, company name, email and phone number to be placed on the waitlist. Santa Monica College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Los Angeles District Office offers free, confidential one-on-one business consulting, as well as low-cost workshops, to support new entrepreneurs and current business owners in all aspects of successfully running a small business.  SBDC’s consultants have education and expertise in a diversity of areas, including but not limited to:  Financing, Marketing, Business Operations and Management, Business Planning and more to help your business grow.

The SBDC is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and also funded in part by state, local, and private sector partners. The Small Business Administration and Resource Partners (such as SBDC, WBC and SCORE) offer a variety of free classes for business owners in its conference room, located at 330 N. Brand Blvd., Suite 1200, Glendale, CA 91203.

The SBA & Resource Partner training workshops are made possible by the generous support of volunteer teachers and presenters. Their time and expertise is appreciated; however, these presentations do not represent an endorsement of the presenters' views, opinions, products, or services by the SBA or Resource Partners. All SBA programs are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis.
