Description

Over the past few decades, Pinot Grigio has become nearly synonymous with "easy-drinking white wine", and Pinot Noir has emerged as the red wine that can do no wrong. What makes the Pinot family of grapes so drinkable? Why is just about every wine producing country trying to grow Pinot?

Explore these questions and more in our 2 hour class - Pinot to the People! Learn about Pinot Grigio and its alter ego, Pinot Gris. Try Pinot Noir in both its red and white forms. Get to know cousin Pinot Blanc/Bianco.

In the process, you will learn basic wine tasting skills and how to describe the different personalities of these wines. Appetizers and an assortment of cheeses will be served during class to introduce some of the fundamentals of pairing wine and food.
