Event Details

Ping Pong for OCD will be held on Friday, October 18th 2013 at Whole Foods Market, located at 750 N Martingale Road, Schaumburg, IL 60173. It is a family friendly evening full of ping pong, live music, food, kids activities and lots more. All skill levels are welcome to attend. The cost is $5 to pre-register and $10 at the door. Warm up and registration begins at 4:30 pm, and the tournament will begin at 5 pm. All proceeds will benefit OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) in the Midwest. Everyone is welcome, whether you register to play pong or not. Dr. Patrick McGrath is the Director of the Center for Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD) at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL. He is also a member of the scientific advisory board of the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, aswell as the President of the Midwest Affiliate of the Foundation.

Nick Andrews is a volunteer at Alexian Brothers, working directly with Dr. McGrath to organize Chicagoland's first Ping Pong for OCD Tournament. Nick has a special interest in the beneficial effects of lifestyle changes made through Yoga, the Arts, and Diet to improve Anxiety disorders.
