Photo Night at The Denver Post October 21, 2014
Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (MDT)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Please plan to join The Denver Post Photojournalism staff in their continued effort to highlight photography from our community at their upcoming Photo Night on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Leading off the night will be staff photojournalists Hyoung Chang and AAron Ontiveroz who spent 8 days following the USA Pro Challenge throughout Colorado in August. They will share their photos and videos and talk about what it was like covering the major sporting event.
Photojournalism staffers Joe Amon, Mahala Gaylord and Meghan Lyden will then share their work from The Denver Post's recent three-part series on homeless children in Colorado. Thousands of Colorado children are homeless under federal education law, living in motels, shelters and other families’ homes while trying to go to school. The Post aimed to bring this growing problem to prominence in September with their special report featuring two families struggling with homelessness in Denver.

A Special Opportunity:
Don't miss your chance to tour the brand new Denver Post newsroom before the presentations. Over the summer the newsroom moved to a new floor with a new layout specifically designed to tackle news in a digitally driven world, including multiple TV studios and a central news hub where editors from all departments work together to put out the daily news. Tours will begin at 5pm from The Denver Post lobby.
