Join the CWRU Phoenix Alumni Chapter as we enjoy a private tour of the beautiful Desert Botanical Garden featuring over 140 acres of land and 50,000 unique plants. Following the tour, a garden tea reception will be held to reflect on the beautiful scenery and network with fellow alumni.
We will meet at the check-in window promplty at 3:00 p.m. for our 45-minute private tour of the gardens followed by our 4:00 p.m. reception. Please note registration is required prior to Monday, November 18th.

What should I wear?
Guests should dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. Suncreen, hats and sunglasses should be worn, as necessary.
How do I get there and where should I park?
The Desert Botanical Garden is accessible by the Light Rail and Valley Metro bus system.
- The Valley Metro bus stops at the intersection of McDowell Rd. and 64th St. Please look for the gate at the southeast corner of the intersection and follow the short walking path to the Garden entrance.
- Bus service from the Light Rail stop at Priest and Washington is also available. Please take bus route 56 on Priest Drive, it will extend north along Gavin Parkway providing direct service to the Phoenix Zoo and the Garden.
