Philly SEED (Supporting Entrepreneurship in Education) is a new, crowd-funded and –sourced opportunity for educational entrepreneurs (non-profit and for-profit) to compete for prizes (cash and in-kind) and, even more importantly, present their ideas before an engaged audience of potential funders, users, collaborators, and community members.
The first Philly SEED event will take place on Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the WHYY building (150 N. 6th Street, Philadelphia, Pa 19106).
Come support your local educational entrepreneurs! $40 will get you an evening of food, drinks, and inspiring ideas. $70 allows you to attend and also sponsor a principal, teacher, or parent to attend free of charge. If you cannot attend, any and all donations are welcome. Ticket proceeds and donations will go to the winner of the Emerging Entrepreneurs group.
