Philippe Treuille's Requiem will be premiered at the Church of the Incarnation, on Friday, January 30th, 2015, at 8:00 PM, by The Symphony Chorus, full choir and orchestra, conducted by Maestro Henric Idestrom. The nine-movement Requiem, is composed for full choir, and orchestra, in nineteen partitions, with text exclusively drawn from the original Latin liturgy.
The performance will be followed by a reception, at the Church of the Incarnation Reception Hall. On display, at the reception, there will be a complete hand-written orchestral manuscript, for Philippe Treuille's Requiem, by the composer.

If you are unable to make it to the premiere, on Friday, January 30th, your tickets may be used to attend the professional recording of the Requiem, at the same location, on Tuesday, February 3rd, at 7:00 PM.
When & Where
Philippe Treuille is a composer, performer, and visual artist. He studied music composition, with Christopher Rouse, at The Juilliard School and with Augusta Read Thomas, at Northwestern University, in addition to summer festivals at the Tanglewood Institute and L'Ecoles de Beaux-Arts de Fontainebleau, where he studied music theory with Isabelle Duha. His music has been performed at the Chateau de Fontainebleau, France, MoMA PS1, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, The Ana Tzarev Gallery, The Rubin Museum of Art, The Plaza at Lincoln Center, The Cell, and other venues in the United States, and in France.
