Event Details

To commemorate the anniversary of P.H.A.T Girl Fresh, there will be a fashion/honors event on May 3, 2014 at Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge in Atlanta, Georgia.  Cocktail hour/red carpet will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the event will start at 6:00.  This event is comprised of; a fashion show that will display some of the hottest fashion trends and an elite group of designers and boutiques. During this event 6 worthy honorees will be recognized for the work that they do to empower others, especially women.  These honorees are; Melinda Santiago (Celebrity manager, S. Firm), Ms. Bo Talley (Black Pearl Ent., CEO), Ms. Nickee (Makeup artist/Model coach, Diva Day International), Shondia McFadden- Sabari (Boldandbreastless), Liris Crosse(Model and actress) and Mello Andrews (Editor and Chief, Full Blossom Magazine).  There will be entertainment provided by three amazing acts; Gospel duo Nu Purpose, Souful singer Susquanna Martin and poet Grande.  The event will be hosted by comedian Star Wilson.

P.H.A.T Girl Fresh will also be collecting donations so that we can provide a monitary love offering to the Moore family. The Moore’s are a family that Shondia McFadden-Sabari adopted due to her relationship with their son Jakorey, a young boy battling brain cancer.  As a breast cancer survivor, this is dear to me because I know the hardships of cancer. During my battle, people poured into my life and I feel obligated to return the favor.  As a parent, I can’t begin to imagine the pain of watching my child battle cancer, but I know it isn't easy.  I am praying that others will help P.H.A.T. GIRL FRESH bless this family and let them know that they are not alone.

P.H.A.T. GIRL FRESH

Although P.H.A.T. Girl Fresh has lived in the confines of my heart and mind for many years, the company’s official launch was April 20, 2013. Saying that I have been blessed is quite an understatement. I’ve had the distinct pleasure of meeting amazing people like  who have inspired me to be a better woman and exposed me to my limitless potential.  Certainly most favorable to my heart is that I have been able to be a blessing to many people in numerous ways.

Being P.H.A.T Girl Fresh exceeds the size of your hips. Goggle says the word Phat refers to something or someone that is excellent and good. Being P.H.A.T Girl Fresh is about being the best (excellent and good) woman that you can be. It is about your ability and willingness to love yourself and others. Being Phat Girl Fresh is an unapologetic statement to the world that you are bold, fierce and fearless. The intent is to; spread the message of self love among our sisters no matter our differences, encourage our daughters to embrace the class and beauty of being ladies while preparing them for life.

I chose hearts as my logo because hearts are curvy with straight parts like women. Hearts represent love. The color pink is used to identify the female gender which I love and respect. The pink is also the color of the breast cancer ribbon ( I am a survivor/warrior), in honor of Leola Mott; a lovely spirit that I lost to the disease. Purple is the color of the lupus ribbon which is a disease that affects many women including my inspiration, Ms. Linnie McCoy (big mama). Purple is also the color that represents another issue that affects women, domestic violence. The hearts are intertwined because we are all connect is the game of life and the sisterhood of womanhood.

We are Passionate (about life), we are Happy (with who we are), we are Appreciative (of God for his blessings) and we are True (to ourselves and others. WE ARE P.H.A.T GIRL FRESH!!!!!
