Phase 2-Mentoring-DOGS- Mansell 1/17 12:30pm

This session is the second phase of training for all volunteers at the AHS Mansell Campus. It only covers the mentoring for DOGS. There are other sessions covering socializing cats and volunteering at the greeter desk. Registration for this session is only open to volunteers who have completed the first orientation training session.
This 2 hour session will include training in handling DOGS, computer sign-in, scheduling and registration in our Biometrics system. This session will allow you to become an active volunteer.
Clothing should be casual and comfortable. Please keep in mind that you will be going outside to walk dogs, and you will need a jacket/sweater if the weather is cool. You CANNOT wear open-toed shoes, and will not be able to participate in the session if you do.
While there is no fee to register for volunteer training. We do require a $25 donation at the time of training to cover the costs of volunteer supplies (t-shirt, apron, leash), unless paid already at the orientation meeting. We can accept a check or cash in that amount during this session. We are not able to take credit cards.
