Join Casey Trees for the May meeting of the Professional Grounds Management Society DC Branch.
Get a tour of the Casey Trees headquarters, a pilot project in the Sustainable Sites Initiative, which includes a bioretention planter and three types of green roofs. After a tour participants will learn about our various planting initiatives throughout the city from our Director of Tree Planting. Attendees will also hear from the General Manager of Casey Tree Farm, a 730-acre tract located in Clarke County, Virginia, where we now grow the majority of our trees for our planting operations in the District and elsewhere.
