It is the summer of 1969. “Petaluma the Musical v.3 “Chickenstock” tells the story of a group of politically active young people of the "Age of Aquarius" living in Petaluma, fighting against conscription into the Vietnam War and advocating for world peace. Johnny and his friends struggle to balance their young lives, rebellion against the war, and their conservative parents and society. The group hears about Woodstock, and decides to put on a similar festival in Petaluma called "Chickenstock". Their hope is the festival will help to achieve peace throughout the world.
