About OSAC: Established in 2007, the Ocean State Animal Coalition (OSAC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the status and well-being of animals in Rhode Island. Consistent with its mission, in July 2010 OSAC opened The Rhode Island Community Spay/Neuter Clinic (RICSNC), a high quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic for dogs and cats. In 204, OSAC launced "Educate Humane" a new Statewide humane education project designed to share valuable information about pet responsibility, respect and empathy. All programs were created to meet the State’s common core standards for education and to provide quality character development lessons. The wide variety of presentations has been created for schools, school’s out programs, early childhood learning venues, community groups such as YMCA’s and Boys & Girls Clubs, and many more.
