The Perspectives Series, organized by the Diversity Crew, includes two annual informative sessions focused on a specific area of diversity. The ultimate goal of the series is to inform members, stimulate dialogue, and build understanding. The upcoming Perspectives event focuses on Hispanic culture in Tulsa.
Juan Miret is breaking stereotypes one taco and one sombrero at a time. Join the Diversity Crew and TYPros members at the second Perspectives event of the year to hear Miret share insight on Hispanic culture in the 918. This event will include samplings of delicious foods, music and dancing.
Juan Miret is local Hispanic journalist and photographer. He has written investigative pieces on immigration, culture, and editorial pieces for the National Association of Hispanic Publications, NAHP.
