Personalized Learning Workshop and Happy Hour

Join us for an interactive workshop in which we'll explore five different ways to meet the individual needs, skills, and interests of students in whole-school and classroom settings through personalized learning. Come early to network and grab a drink, and we'll have refreshments and appetizers throughout the evening. We'll also be announcing the launch of the NOLA Blended Learning Fellowship for teachers, which will begin in February 2014.

As Senior Vice President of Growth, Development, and Policy at Rocketship Education, Kristoffer leads all initiatives that foster the organization’s growth into new regions. Kristoffer’s previous roles include Chief Operating Officer of KIPP Austin Public Schools, where he managed and scaled its operational systems, and working with the KIPP Foundation as a Trailblazer.
In his role as Director of Blended Learning for ReNEW Charter Schools, Brandon coaches teachers and principals on using technology to accelerate student achievement and consults with Educate Now! to facilitate the growth of blended learning throughout New Orleans. Before joining the ReNEW team, he worked with Education Elements and co-founded Know Limit Learning Services, an online and in-home education service.
Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Aylon was the Chief Schools Officer at Rocketship Education. In that role, he oversaw the design of the Hybrid School Model and the expansion strategy for Rocketship Education. He previously served as the Senior Vice President for Teacher Preparation, Support, and Development at Teach For America and has held several senior executive positions and regional directorships at Kaplan Inc.
As the Manager of School Model Innovation at Rocketship Education, Caryn manages the development and implementation of a new instructional model, called the Flexible Classroom, which involves individualized student schedules and an entire grade level cohort (and their teachers and technology) in one room. Caryn previously taught and served as a seminar leader for The New Teacher Project in Washington D.C..
