Tribute to Veterans
at the Southern Museum of Flight
November 7, 2013
Join us for this FREE event celebrating military service while
honoring our local veterans and their families. Social Hour with
hors d’oeuvres 5:30-6:30p.m. Program 6:30-8:00 p.m. followed
with Dancing to music by big band Ain’t Misbehavin’.
The program’s keynote presentation will be given by
Major General Roy Bridges (USAF Ret.) former NASA astronaut,
former director of NASA John F. Kennedy Space Center and
Langley Research Center.
The program also includes the Samford Air Force ROTC Color
Guard, awards to selected veterans and organizations, reflections
on the founding of Veterans Day in Birmingham with Dr. David
Dyson and COL Stretch Dunn (USA Ret.).
