Who: Volunteers of all ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children 12 require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor. For groups of 5 or more, please contact Junko Bryant, firstname.lastname@example.org, before signing up.
What: Volunteers will help with habitat enhancement by planting native plants along Permanente Creek.
Where: The workday will take place on the Permanente Creek Trail (see above map) in the city of Mountain View on Google Campus, between Charleston Avenue and Amphitheatre Parkway. Parking is available at any of the parking lots near the intersection of Charleston Rd. and Alta Ave. in Mountain View or along Amphitheatre Road. Parking is available in the Google lot for Buildings 41, 42 and 43, (near Charleston and Alta) and the Permanente Creek Trail is nearest to this parking lot. The workday will take place near the Permanente Creek pedestrian bridge halfway between Charleston Avenue and Amphitheatre Parkway. (The green Permanente Creek Trail sign is visible from Charleston Avenue).
Please bring: A reusable water bottle and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves and tools. Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
