In anticipation of the FY 2014-2015 Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Call for Projects, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority (TA) invites you to attend the Pedestrian and Bicycle Call for Projects Workshop.
What is the Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program?
The purpose of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Program is to fund specific projects that encourage and improve bicycling and walking conditions in San Mateo County.
What will be covered at this workshop?
During the workshop, TA staff will provide an overview of the Measure A Pedestrian and Bicycle Program criteria, which include the Call for Project guidelines and application process.
Who should attend?
The workshop is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in impoving bicycling and walking conditions in San Mateo County is encouraged to attend.
Who is eligible to sponsor a project?
Eligible project sponsors include the County of San Mateo and all cities within the county. Other interested agencies may partner with an eligible sponsor, however, only eligible project sponsors may submit applications.

When and where will the workshop be held?
The workshop will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the San Mateo County Transit District's Second Floor Auditorium. The address is 1250 San Carlos Ave., San Carlos, CA 94070.
Is there public transportation to the workshop?
The San Mateo County Transportation Authority's office is easily accessible via public transportation. The office is just a 5 minute walk from the San Carlos Caltrain Station and the SamTrans ECR El Camino Real/San Carlos Avenue bus stop.
