Rain or shine, thousands of music lovers are expected to flock to Pearland iFest at the Pearland Town Center in Pearland, Texas 77584 this weekend. We promise the show will go on even if there is wet weather. Free Parking and Free H-E-B Kid's Zone.
Friday's festival line-up and kickoff party is a dedicated oldies theme. Festival goers can look forward to memory lane with featured hits from the 70s all the way through the 90s, including performances by XPRYNZ, The Grooves, and headliner The Molly Ringwalds. Food trucks and various beverage stations, including beer, wine, sodas, and water, will be on hand. The $25 admission for Friday also allows entry for Saturday's event or $15.00 for Friday only. However, Friday night will be limited to attendees who are 18 or older.
Saturday September 17's family-friendly line-up will feature cultural performances from nearly every region of the globe. Acts hit the stage shortly after the national anthem at 11 a.m. and include Grupo Folklorico Raises de Panama, Cumbia en Movimiento, Yuva Hollywood Dance and Fitness, Heirro Forjado Flamencos, LAA Society, Capoeira Luanda Sugarland, Kalpana Subbarao Indian Classical Dance, Mixteco Ballet Folklorico, The Modern Gypsy Project, Kalilah Dance Troupe, Del Espadin Baile Espanol. Performances from Sandy G. y Los Gavilanes and the Galaxy Band, winners of the Caribbean Achievement Award, cap off Saturday's festivities.
Tickets can also be purchased for the Reflection Bay Event Center "Taste of Pearland" VIP tent. VIP tent sales are for one of two flights - an early flight from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and later flight from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The $50 VIP admission grants you access to a number of food and wine vendors from the Pearland area and includes a keepsake wine glass and other discounts at participating restaurants and wineries.
The festival boasts an enhanced HEB Kids Zone experience, with many free activities for children including face painting, rides, and arts and crafts. Representatives from the Houston Rockets and the Texans Street Team will also be on hand. In addition, live music and dance performances, international food, and family-fun activities with occur throughout Saturday's Festival. Tickets for Saturday's event are $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. Parking is free.

The Pearland Foundation for the Performing and Visual Arts (PFPVA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote awareness of the community's cultural diversity through events, education and scholarship programs. PFPVA’s fourth annual Pearland International Festival offers a unique way to help raise funds and cultural awareness. All proceeds from the Pearland International Festival are dedicated to performing and visual arts scholarships for local Pearland students seeking to pursue higher education in the visual arts field. PFPVA has provided twenty (20) scholarships from the proceeds from the 2014-2015 festival.

Fourth Annual Pearland International Festival Announces Two-Day Line-up and New Location
PEARLAND, TEXAS – The Pearland International Festival, an annual celebration of the cultural expansion and impression in Pearland, has announced the program and line-up changes for the 4th annual festival. The new line-up for the festival will include an intimate adult-only Friday evening concert followed by a full day of family activities and entertainment on Saturday. The dates have been confirmed as September 16-17, 2016 where the two-day bash will be held at The Pearland Town Center. The Festival has grown tremendously since its institution in 2012, more than 16,000 visitors were noted to have enjoyed the festival last year and expects more than 18,000 this year.
“With the growth of the festival and the excitement we have been able to generate regarding our community’s diversity, the Foundation felt that we needed to expand this year’s festival,” said Joshua Hari, co-founder of the Pearland Foundation for the Performing and Visual Arts. “The two-day event will provide us with a number of amazing food vendors, cultural performances,
and highlight Pearland’s cultural mix.”
