Peace & Quiet Dialogue Station
New York, NY
‘Peace and Quiet’ is a temporary dialogue station where veterans and civilians can openly engage each other in meaningful conversation. It is a tranquil place to share stories, leave a note, record your thoughts, shake hands, and meet in person.
The station will open on Veterans Day and run until November 16, 2012 from 12pm-8pm. Events at the Station vary from day to day, with our collaborators StoryCorps, the Pat Tillman Foundation, Socialgence, Code of Support, and Brian Fernandes-Halloran hosting a range of conversational activities.
As a maximum of (8) people can be accommodated inside the station at one time, we recommend you reserve your participation. This will ensure your voice becomes part of the history of this project.
