PCRT Beer Week Scavenger Hunt

You and a team of your friends, traverse the Portland peninsula on foot, while solving beer and history related trivia questions to complete a series of challenges! Celebrate Portland Beer Week with Port City Running Tours and this exciting new event. Prizes for the top teams, beer drinking bonus challenges, and an after party! This scavenger hunt will test your knowledge, and Google skills, as you travel up to 5 miles through the streets of Portland, visiting bars, breweries, and landmarks in an attempt to be the fastest team to complete the challenge. Must be 21 or older to participate.
Packet Pick up:
Packet pick up will take place at Rising Tide Brewing Company on Friday November 8th from 3:00- 5:00 p.m. and Saturday November 9th from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. Each person participating MUST submit a signed waiver in order to pick up their packet. Packets will inlude bib numbers, a ticket for one free drink at Rising Tide, and other goodies. Waivers will be available at packet pick up and will be posted at www.portcityrunningtours.com at least one week prior to the event.
Awards and After Party:
The event will start and finish at Rising Tide Brewery where you will enjoy an after party and awards ceremony complete with cornhole, a foodtruck, and beer for purchase. Family and friends are welcome!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes! You must be 21 to enter and bring a valid ID to packet pick up as well as the event.
How many people can I have on my team?
As many as you would like, as long as you stick together and everyone completes each challenge.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Running shoes, cell phone, camera, ID, cash, and a credit card are encouraged. No dogs, kids, strollers, or alcohol.
Will I be required to drink during the event?
No, no one is required to drink at any point but the option will certainly be there.
How many miles will we be traveling
Aproximately 4-6 miles.
Do I have to run?
No but the only mode of transportation allowed is your own two feet. No bikes, no cars, no public transportation.
Will I need to spend any of my own money?
At no point are you required to spend any additional money but some of the bonus challenges will include purchasing specific drinks.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It would be helpful if you did, but it is not required.
What is the refund policy?
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The name on the registration/ticket MUST match the attendee.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes! Each participant must submit a signed waiver in order to pick up their packet. Waivers will be available at packet pick up and will be posted online at www.portcityrunningtours.com at least one week prior to the event.
