PCC Presents our Suburban Luncheon:

Maximizing Suburban Media to Boost PR Success:

Hyperlocal is the Future- NEW PANELIST ADDED!!

If you're just concentrating your media pitches to outlets with a Chicago address, you're missing out on the opportunities of a robust suburban media presence, with outlets that make it their daily mission to shine thet light on issues and stories that matter at the hyper-local, local and often regional level. Regularly, these stories in suburban outlets make their way to the big time: front pages of Chicago dailies, some national editions, television news, Chicago radio and more. And reporters are a bit more approachable.

PANELISTS:

  • Anne Halston, Chicago Tribune Local News Editor
  • Julie Mann, WBBM-AM 780 Managing Editor(and former Suburban Bureau Chief)
  • Kim Mikus, Business Ledger Editor
  • Renee Trappe, Daily Herald Assistant Managing Editor/Local News
  • Ronnie Wachter, Sun-Times Media Group Reporter

MODERATORDan McCaleb, Editor for Shaw Media Suburban Publications (this includes Kane County Chronicle)
