PBWC Bay Area Community Event
How Mind/Body Health Affects Your Leadership Strength
Co-Hosted by Oracle and Kaiser Permanente
January 28, 2014 at 4 pm
Redwood City, CA
Diane Gage Lofgren, Keynote Speaker
An effective leader is strong and centered in all situations. How can you take care of yourself so that you have what it takes to inspire others and lead with vision, insight and energy through the best and the worst of times?
This event will show you how mind/body health balance impacts leadership strength, and it will provide you with tools and techniques to improve and maintain your mind/body balance.
Diane Gage Lofgren, senior vice president of Brand Communication and chief communication officer at Kaiser Permanente, will share the story of her personal leadership journey and tell you what she does to nourish her mind, body and spirit. She'll talk about how she manages her own health, and how she inspires employees to do the same through her monthly column, "Living Our Brand." She will share personal and statistical insights into how living a healthy life can make you a stronger and more effective leader.
As the steward of one of America's premier health brands, Lofgren oversees the work that promotes Kaiser Permanente in the hearts and minds of clients, employees and other key stakeholders. In 2010, she co-founded Kaiser Permanente's Women Embracing Life and Leadership (KP WELL), a business resource group.
Following Diane’s keynote address, a panel of senior executives will share their personal perspectives on how health and lifestyle choices contribute to their success.
During the course of the evening, you will have the opportunity to meet, network and share your own story with a dynamic and engaged audience of professional women.
