In honor of Patina Shoe Parlor’s two-year anniversary, a celebration will be held on Tuesday, February 4th from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at the Chicory, located at 610 South Peters St. in the historic Warehouse District. In addition, we will have our second annual creative showcase highlighting artists and establishments from around the city who emphasize on art, culture, lifestyle and fashion in New Orleans, including, but not limited to Terrance Osborne, benefitting the New Orleans Opera Association, where they will receive 30% of the funds collected through those who showcase.. We will serve up complimentary drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres. There will also be live performances by the Jimmy Maxwell Orchestra, 2014 Jazz Fest performer, T-Ray the Violinist and profound Bass - Baritone, Ivan Griffin. Essentially, we are the platform for creating awareness for local individuals and establishments who emphasize on art, culture, lifestyle and fashion in Nola! We would like your support!
Alexander Bourne, proprietor of Patina Shoe Parlor, decided to take the necessary steps to create awareness for local individuals, small businesses and organizations that emphasize art, culture and fashion lifestyles. In accordance with Bourne’s values for small businesses, he has teamed up with local artists and establishments from around New Orleans to expose their work, establishments and goods.
Patina Shoe Parlor is an upscale, full service shoe repair company founded by Alexander Bourne in 2012 that targets large and small offices and corporations across the Gulf Coast region. The company focuses on providing a necessary service to New Orleanians while limiting environmental impact. Patina Shoe Parlor does so by offering the convenience of a pick-up and delivery service. In addition, Patina Shoe Parlor encourages the reuse and repurpose of leather goods to reduce waste.
There are many small businesses and hundreds of individuals in support of this event. The city of New Orleans undoubtedly eager to see our success. We would like for you to be a part of this. Each year, Patina Shoe Parlor benefits a different non-profit organization to recieve a portion of the monetary proceeds obtained through this event. This year's beneficiary has not yet been determined, where they will recieve 30% of the funds collected through those who showcase.
