Cosby Sweater is a new and vibrant voice in live electronic music. The versatile trio is comprised of David Embry on production and vocals, Nicholas Gerlach on Tenor Saxophone and EWI and Jeff Peterson on drums.
Cosby Sweater has been on the road making crowds dance since their launch in 2012. The band has shared the stage with Pretty Lights, Umphrey’s McGee, Lotus, Deltron 3030, EOTO, Conspirator and performed at a plethora of top national festivals. They often have Joel Cummins of Umphrey’s McGee join the band for special occasions.
On April 15th, Cosby Sweater added another notch to their list of achievements with the debut of their new EP Party Dad. All six tracks are infectiously danceable, making it impossible not to groove along with the winding, sensual saxophone melodies and ultra-accessible beats.
Summer festival season has proved to be another Cosby Sweater launch pad. The band had some amazing standout performances including a tweener set between two Umphrey’s McGee sets at Electric Forest in front of 12K + fans.
This fall you can expect Cosby Sweater to release another album including a ton of special guest performers. Fall tour is shaping up nicely including a group of Live Nation “One’s to Watch” dates in October. For full details go to www.cosbysweatermusic.com
