“Pass To Play” Event Offers Sports Physicals To Bay Area Youth
July community event will give medical clearance for school sports for hundreds of youth athletes
Bay Area student athletes will converge July 27 on Muir Orthopaedic Specialists to receive their sports physical exam in an event where local physicians will contribute their time and expertise to making sure that student athletes are fit to compete in their chosen sport when school begins in the fall.
Pass To Play: A Community Sports Physicals Event for Bay Area Youths was created to help make sports participation safe by offering students an economical sports physical performed by the orthopedists and sports medicine specialists at Muir Orthopaedic Specialists (MOS).
All proceeds from this event will be directed back to the students' school athletic programs, and a copy of the exam will be sent to each student athlete's personal physician. Plus, select vendors will be on hand throughout the event with giveaways for participants.
MOS is offering Pass To Play in part because of their active involvement in local student athletics. Several MOS physicians serve as doctors and medical advisors to Bay Area sports teams at the youth, high school, college and professional levels.
