schedule of events
Sunday Vigil Mass will be celebrated in St. John’s Chapel on the Newman campus.
Enjoy an adult beverage and take in the sights and sounds of the French Quarter as street performers, artisans and vendors entertain. Then, browse a collection of unique and fabulous auction items, sure to please all budgets and interests (silent auction tables will close every ten minutes beginning at 7:50 p.m.)
Dinner is served! Grab a succulent steak at Greg’s grill then load up your plate with all the delicious sides you can handle…bon appetit!
Dessert will come to you! Students will serve dessert and coffee as our professional auctioneers of Auction Specialists, LLC present a short menu of live auction items including the original maquette of the statue of John Henry Cardinal Newman that stands on the Newman campus, an all accommodations trip to Naples, Fla., provided by Carla Stovall Steckline and Larry Steckline, a Christmas in New Orleans package for two donated by Village Tours & Travel, and more.
Cornejo Plaza will be the best view of the splendid firework show in air and on water. Then the Mudbugs will keep you moving long into the night with familiar and original tunes at the Legacy Bank Stage.
