The strength of our local economy will be the major factor in maintaining our high quality of life now and in the future. Ensuring a strong partnership between the business community, the public-sector and the University of California, Santa Cruz will be of the utmost importance. Combining the resources of these "communities" will enable Santa Cruz County to seen as a place with a firm commitment to economic vitality and to higher education.
The Santa Cruz County Business Council (SCCBC), the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) and the Santa Cruz Sentinel will be hosting a lunch forum on June 24, 2013, to discuss the future of our local economy through a "collaborative lens."
A roundtable discussion featuring leadership from the UCSC, the County business community and the public-sector, will serve as the "spring board" for a conversation that will certainly endure into the future.
Roundtable participants to include:

Santa Cruz County Business Council members receive complimentary tickets.
