Event Details

Pandemonium: Stories of the Smoke brings you London as you've never seen it before - science fiction and fantasy in the tradition of the great Charles Dickens. 

Please join us for the release of this new collection at the thematically-appropriate Betsey Trotwood pub. 

Both the limited edition and the eBook of Stories of the Smoke (plus its companion chapbook, Fire) will be available for the first time.

Contributors to Stories of the Smoke include Adam Roberts, Archie Black, Jonathan Green, Sarah Lotz, Rebecca Levene, Aliette de Bodard, Alexis Kennedy, James Wallis, Sarah Anne Langton, Jenni van der Merwe, David Thomas Moore, Lavie Tidhar, Kaaron Warren, Michelle Goldsmith, Esther Saxey and Glen Mehn. 

Stories of the Smoke is introduced by Christopher Fowler and illustrated by Gary Northfield.

The evening will feature readings from several of the contributors and a silent auction of Gary Northfield's original artwork, with all proceeds going to benefit English PEN.

A portion of all sales from Stories of the Smoke is also donated to English PEN.
