Pandemic! Game Night
Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EST)
Join your fellow gamers and people concerned about public health to save the world from deadly infectious diseases.
Will you develop a cure, and a means to deliver it to the world population? Can you develop this strategy before large percentages of the public die? Debate these issues while working as a team to solve global health challenges.
In this game scenario, you are a specialist at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, where you watch infectious diseases break out all over the world. Your team's mission is to prevent the spread of disease by treating hot spots and investigating cures for each of the infections. Put together a team, or come on your own and make new friends.
Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Please bring a Pandemic! game board with you to the program, if one is available.
Please contact the Koshland Science Museum at (202) 334-1201 or firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about the program.
