We need some furniture at LA Makerspace and Tara has been talking far too long about making it, so now is the time! Our very first meetup to figure out how to make PALLET FURNITURE!
If you bring your own pallets feel free to make your own furniture to take home.
We'll supply the pallets for the space and some of the tools, but if you have any tools we can use to build the furniture, please bring them! We'll need crowbars, drills, electric sanders, planers, saws, hammers, etc.
- Circular Saw
- Electric Sander
- Straight edge
- Tape Measure
- Finishing Nails
- Wood Glue
- Wood paste
- 1/4" bit
- 1/16" bit
- 1 1/2" drywall screws
- 3"x.25 bolts
- .25" Nuts
- Caster Wheels
In addition we need Sewers that can guide us through making cushions. We like to be comfie!
Here are some examples of pallet furniture to get you all fired up!
