Andres Barreto is a serial entrepreneur originally from Colombia, co-founder of Onswipe, considered one of the 10 startups to watch in NY in 2011, with $6M founding from top Venture Capitals. He previously co-founded Grooveshark, a leading music streaming app. In Latin America, he founded Socialatom Group, a Tech and PR agency that also promotes entrepreneurship in the region with startup and tech blog PulsoSocial. Andres is a frequent speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship and developing nations and has participated in Conferences throughout Latin America.

Alexander Torrenegra is a Colombian serial entrepreneur specialized in online marketplaces. In 1994, Alexander started studying Automation Engineering at Universidad de la Salle (Bogota, Colombia) but after two years he left school to focus full time on his business ideas. Alex moved to New York in 2000 and has since co-founded numerous startups, including Torrenegra Labs, Voice123.com, LetMeGo.com, and Localo.com among others.

Patricio co-founded Three Melons in 2005 in Buenos Aires, while the video game industry in Argentina was nascent. After raising financing, the duo created their first game connected to advertisers, an advergame. The launch of the company’s Indiana JonesLEGO game drew over 10 million users worldwide. Most of Three Melons’ games are web-based and generate revenue through in-game advertising and virtual goods. Over 800,000 people every day play Bola, the studio’s first social game, on Facebook and Orkut. In March 2010, Three Melons was acquired by Playdom, one of the fastest-growing social gaming companies in Silicon Valley. In July 2010, the Walt Disney Company announced it had agreed to acquire Playdom for $763 million.

John Ason has been an angel investor for over 12 years specializing in early stage pre-revenue companies. He has made over twenty eclectic investments in the areas of e-commerce, technology, advertising and entertainment, including Diapers.com, Soap.com, etc. John was at AT&T Bell Labs for over 25 years, first involved in software and technology development, then in marketing and business management of large telecommunications projects overseas.
