B Restaurant & Bar in San Francisco will host its Third Annual Oyster Bash on August 23, 2014.
At this “all you can eat” event, over 12,000 oysters will be served up:
Raw on the half shell at a Raw Bar Station located on the restaurant’s patio
Grilled and steamed oysters are served alongside sauces and crackers in the loggia
Fried oyster po-boy sliders are served by staff throughout the event
Oyster shooters are served by staff throughout the event
At 2:30 p.m. the annual Oyster Shucking Contest will commence. The first 20 people to sign up for the contest upon their arrival at the event compete against one another for first place, second place and third place trophies. The first place winner also receives “all you can eat” oysters at B Restaurant & Bar for an entire year.

This event is open to all ages and ticket prices are $45 presale and $65 at the door. The price includes unlimited oysters only, and with only 200 tickets available, will sell out quickly.
