CELEBRATING OUR 5TH YEAR! Please join us for the annual OWAM Users Group Conference, FullCircle 2014, on the picturesque San Francisco Bay at the Oracle Headquarters Campus in Redwood Shores on March 5-6, 2014. In an effort to help clients optimize their travel dollar, this event will be held the same week as the 2014 Multi-Product Customer Advisory Board (CAB) hosted by The Oracle Utilities Global Business Unit; more information below.
FullCircle 2014 will once again be your opportunity for Oracle work & asset management collaboration with fellow WAM colleagues and expert resources in the New Year! This “for users, by users” grassroots user community event continues to offer a very low attendee registration fee of only $385 per person…which includes all sessions, conference materials, meals, evening events, and shuttle transportation between the event hotel and Oracle campus. Thank you to Oracle for graciously providing access to their onsite convention center & logistic support services to further our cause.

Back by popular demand, Doc Palmer has over three decades of industrial experience as a practitioner primarily within the maintenance department of the Jacksonville Electric Authority, a major United States electric utility. From 1990 through 1994, Palmer was responsible for overhauling the existing maintenance planning organization. The resulting success played a role in expanding planning to all crafts and stations owned and operated by the utility. Publisher McGraw-Hill subsequently sought out Palmer to author the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Handbook published in 1999 and now in its third edition. Currently Palmer provides guidance, mentoring, and training for companies internationally for maintenance planning success.

On Tuesday, March 4th from 4:30pm-6:30pm attendees are invited to register for the conference and attend a casual, hosted cocktail Welcome & Vendor Night Reception at the Oracle Conference Center. On Wednesday, March 5th following the conference day, attendees will be delivered by coach to Long Branch Saloon & Farms, the Bay Area's only Country Western town! The old-west ambiance celebrates the wild west heritage with gunfights, gold panning, roping demonstrations and an old-west saloon. Enjoy of evening of gambling at casino night for great prizes, dinner, gold panning, souvenir photos and a hosted bar. Hours: 6:00pm – 9:30pm. (Please note that a wristband is required for entry. If you are bringing a guest/spouse, please purchase guest ticket above.)

The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport is the official event hotel, located eight miles from the conference center. A conference shuttle will be provided each way from the Hyatt to the Oracle Campus, as to/from the Hyatt House Belmont (see below). As with previous years, hotel reservations and availability are on a first-come, first-serve basis as the room block is limited. We encourage attendees to reserve their room early; discounted room rate ends on January 29, 2014. In fact, we recommend you reserve a hotel room NOW is there is even a slight chance you'll be able to attend; you can always cancel the room later. The current room block rate is $189 + tax/night; however, after this initial block is gone, room rates go to $224 + tax/night. And after January 29, room rates go to $259. ABOUT THE CUSTOMER ADVISORY BOARD (CAB) MEETING
Following the format used last year, the Oracle Utilities Multi-Product Customer Advisory Board (CAB) scheduled for March 3-4, 2014, will be open to all customers for all Oracle Utilities products, and is a separate event from FullCircle. The CAB meeting will be used to present Product Roadmaps and to solicit feedback from customers. Please note that this FullCircle announcement is not an invitation to the CAB. Invitation and registration information for the CAB is forthcoming under separate cover from your Oracle representative . There is no cost to attend the CAB; registration will be handled separately (travel and other costs are the responsibility of each attendee). However, there is a low registration fee to attend the self-funded FullCircle OWAM event that relies solely on attendee registration fees and industry partner sponsorships each year.
