We will look at the traits of great software developers, seven secrets to effectively specifying software and the four key principles for managing software projects effectively.

He gives over a hundred presentations a year to both technical and business audiences on everything from specifying software, lean startups and lean software development to mobile development, cloud computing and NoSQL data stores. He has presented at conferences as varied as DLD conference, ooPSLA, the Rich Web Experience, UberConf and the NFJS tour and has been published in IEEE Software, Dr. Dobbs, IBM developerWorks and Information Week.
