Come out to Brooklyn Bridge Park for a picnic and one of the last outdoor movies of the summer, Alfred Hitchock's "The Birds."
The move officially starts at sunset (around 8-8:30pm). However, we will be meeting at 6:30pm to officially stake out a spot and have a picnic, chat, etc. before the movie starts. Bring a picnic blanket and food/drink for yourself or to share, and mosquito repellent!
You can't really beat an outdoor movie against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline, especially when it's with your fellow Bears!
UPDATE: WE WILL MEET IN FRONT OF THE BROOKLYN ICE CREAM FACTORY AT THE at 6:30 (NEAR THE PIER ENTRANCE AT THE INTERSECTION OF FURMAN AND OLD FULTON).
We will be leaving the ice cream factory exactly at 6:30pm to head over to the lawn area to find a spot for our group.. If you arrive late, please try to reach me on my cell and I will do my best to respond to everyone (calls are preferred, as it will not be possible for me to answer all texts: 432-312-1760).
If you arrive early to the lawn and want to help save a spot (we are expecting a group around 20 people), please let me know as well and I will try to coordinate with you/arrive as early as possible! thanks!
