Event Details

Join the KSO in celebrating both the cultural history of Kenosha as well as the shared anniversary with Copland's classic piece composed in 1940, "Our Town." The KSO thanks the people of Kenosha for their support of our mission for the past 75 years. After all,

"The promise of living, the promise of growing,

Is born of our singing in joy of thanksgiving."

Note: Children 12 and under are free with adult purchase.

Kenosha Symphony

Since 1940, the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra has been a cultural cornerstone of southeastern Wisconsin, and has entertained and educated thousands of music enthusiasts and local school children. The KSO was formed by the Department of Public Recreation – Kenosha Board of Education, with the support of community organizations in 1940. Recently, the orchestra has undergone drastic changes, including a website redesign and renewed commitment to its mission; aiming now to engage, educate, inspire, and enhance our community through the performance and awareness of symphonic repertoire.
