On May 31th, in conjunction with UNAM we will explore how Mexican and German influences created our Texas culture of today. “Three from Texas” featured artists listed below and their work will set the backdrop of our event, Lionel Sosa, Diane Mazur, and John Dyer will speak about the influences Texas culture had on their artwork. Historians of Mexican and German culture will talk about the unique blending of the two here in “Our Texas”. A special treat will be Rudy Lopez from “Conjunto Heritage Taller” performance demonstrating this unique blending in music. Join us for a unique blending of Art, History, and Music. Thursday, May 31st from 7pm-10pm. Free and open to the public.
