Our Role in Preventing Sexual and Domestic Violence (September)
Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (MST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This 4 hour training will focus on efforts to create social change in our communities through primary prevention. Prevention requires understanding the factors that influence and support violence, racism, sexism and other issues of oppression. Attendees will be positioned to better serve people that come to us and develop and nurture communities where the most vulnerable and marginalized people are valued.
Please ensure that everyone that attends the meeting parks in the overflow parking located at Cypress and 1st Avenue highlighted/circled in the picture. It is very important that no one parks in the upper or lower parking structure, or on the street directly in front of the building. There is limited parking at the FAC for staff and clients only. Please check with your meeting attendees to ensure they park at the correct location upon arrival and if they failed to do so, please have them move their vehicles. Many staff that work at the FAC are emergency workers and need easy access to parking.
Registration, Cancellation and Payment: Registration is required for the training.
• Register early! Training fills quickly and registration is handled on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited.
