Tickets: $17 adv., $20 dr. Artists from various dance genres based on footwork get together for a night of sharing their craft through dance and conversation. Expect a close and personal chance to spend time with popular Bay Area dance artists. Program includes Argentine malambo, Peruvian, Flamenco, American tap, Clogging, and Mexican... and more! *Sharing our love of Argentine culture Series Tango & More Argentine Dance was founded in 2006 for the express purpose of sharing the rich cultural heritage of Argentina through performance and education. We're delighted that La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley, California, has invited us to host a monthly series of events focusing on different aspects of Argentina through music, dance, song, spoken word, drama, film, and more. La Peña is a community cultural center with a national reputation and a global vision that promotes peace, social justice and cultural understanding through the arts, education and social action.

As a welcoming gathering place, La Peña provides opportunities for artists to share diverse cultural traditions, to create and perform their work, and to support and interface with diverse social movements.

Annually, La Peña presents over 200 events with emerging and established artists; organizes an arts education program; produces new works by local artists, presents internationally and nationally renowned artists, and houses a Latin American cafe which complements the organization's mission.
