Our City Thoughts Launch "Cool Story Bro, Tell it again!"
Friday, December 6, 2013 from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM (EST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 during the week of Art Basel, Our City Thoughts hosts it’s official launch at The LAB MIAMI’s never before seen Idea Garden. During this one-day special event, the public will have the chance to see firsthand the diverse collection of video, photography and written narratives the OCT team has compiled in the last six months.
At this interactive local event with a global footprint, the community has the chance to learn about OCT, engage with city innovators, and share their thoughts of Miami.
The unveiling of “The Cube” also takes place – a video booth designed to capture personal ideas, impressions, and stories about Miami and its future.
The event is designed as a multisensory experience combining powerful black and white portraits, multi-screens playing the inspired video interviews, and “The Cube” - the live video booth.
The release and showing culminates with a fireside chat with an awesome pannel sharing their city thoughts. The focus of the conversation: how we are telling and will tell the layered renaissance narrative of technology, culture, and innovation happening in Miami and the Americas.

Our City Thoughts
Our City Thoughts, highlights Miami’s startups, entrepreneurs, and creatives who through their actions and work #RedefineMiami.
As an organization we want to create events that challenge and inspire our city, especially young people in Miami to be forward thinking. We have a fragmented (for profit and non-profit) entrepreneurial community: through events, the original content we produce, and the speakers we bring together - we are creating a space that seeks to shake minds.
Ultimately its about bringing proven ideas, concepts and strategies that have worked globally to Miami. Connecting those ideas and strategies at the local level and empowering young people to use them.
