Please read all information before registering for APA! Volunteer Orientation. Refunds are not available for this event.

1. You must fill out a volunteer application before attending orientation.
2. Age Restrictions:
• All volunteers under 18 years old must have a parent's or guardian's volunteer application on file and must be accompanied by the parent/guardian at volunteer orientation.
• After orientation, minors aged 16-17 may volunteer at APA! without supervision if a parent waiver is on file.
• Youth aged 12-15 require adult supervision at all times while volunteering for APA!
• Children under 12 years old may not volunteer for APA!
• Registration guarantees you a spot at the selected volunteer orientation. All attendees must have a spot regardless of whether they are volunteering or accompanying a youth or minor.
3. If you are seeking community service restitution hours for a pending or completed court case, refer to our Community Service Restitution Program. Do not fill out a volunteer application or register for volunteer orientation.
4. The registration fee includes an Austin Pets Alive! volunteer t-shirt.
5. There are a limited number of waitlist spots available for this event; if you do not see an option on this page to be added to the waitlist, it is already full.
6. Parking may be extremely limited, so you are encouraged to arrive early. If you arrive after the orientation start time, you will be turned away regardless of whether you have a reservation.
