Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan Listening Meeting (R4)
Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM (PDT)
The purpose of this Listening Meeting for the Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan (Plan) is to engage local governments and interested citizens in a conversation about policy direction in the Plan. The discussion themes are: connections to key destinations; network connectivity, and safety.
The Plan is a policy level plan and like other ODOT topic and mode plans, provides a vision and a policy framework for decision making and investment strategies within the context of the transportation system as a whole. Visit the website for more information: http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/TD/TP/pages/bikepedplan.aspx
A meeting will be held in each of ODOT’s 5 Regions around the state. Space at each meeting is limited due to room size, however there will also be opportunities to provide comment online.
The meeting in Bend is being held in conjunction with a Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrain Advisory Committee Meeting. OBPAC members are already registered for the event.
