Event Details

Running takes a lot out of you, so it's important to pay attention to what you're eating to get the most out of your effort.

Join us at The Record's Community Media Lab on March 28 from 6 to 7 p.m. for a nutritional seminar that will help new and seasoned runners learn how to best fuel their bodies.

Chris Cooley, FNP, a certified family nurse practitioner, will lead the seminar. Cooley has specialized in gastroenterology and hepatology for the past 16 years with a focus on digestive health, nutrition and exercise, weight reduction, detoxification and optimal health and wellness.

Thursday's seminar will focus on the basics for optimal energy and dietary intake for before and after working out, and improved nutritional choices based on the latest research to improve health and prevent illness and disease.

Space is limited, so registration is requested.
