Interested in spatial data, Open Street Map (OSM), or contributing to the largest open source mapping project in the world?
Come join us for a mapping party at MIT. There will be presentations and hands on editing throughout the day. We will be working in teams to update some local map data to reflect the some new developments in Cambridge.
We encourage you to bring a laptop or GPS with you if you would like to learn with your own tools, but we will also have many computers and GPS units to work with as well.
Space is limited so sign up ASAP.

Introduction to Open Street Maps presentation and discussion
Mapping teams will begin working on local update for OSM. Two teams will be collecting track/data with GPS units and one team will use imagery to update features locally
Review of OSM technology and basics of editing presentation
