The two-days OpenStack Upstream Training program is aimed at professional developers so their bug fix or feature is accepted in the OpenStack project in the minimum amount of time.
The program requires students to work on real-life bug fixes or new features during two days in real-life classes and online mentoring until the work is accepted by OpenStack.
The live two-day class teaches them to navigate the intricacies of the technical tools and social interactions. As a followup the students will benefit from individual online sessions to help resolve the problems and improve their understanding of the technical and social requirements for a successful contribution to OpenStack. Read the full program and more details on the wiki.
The two days class will happen before the OpenStack Summit in Atlanta in the same venue.
