UPDATE: EVENT IS **SOLD OUT** but we are LIVE STREAMING the key note sessions. RSVP: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3768208814/summit
Formerly known as the "OpenStack Design Summit & Conference", you may notice the OpenStack Summit has a new name. The name reflects a new streamlined format -- the previously separate events will be running in parallel, in one location, with one registration system. Whether you want to build the software, run OpenStack, grow the community or just learn more about it, there will be content, workshops and design sessions for you to attend October 15-18, in San Diego.
The feedback from the April event was that you wanted more of everything - more Design Summit sessions for contributing developers, more workshops for deployers and more breakout sessions for users and business folks. The result is that we're adding more tracks and content into four days, but also making it easier to find the content, workshops or design sessions you need to attend.
Monday will feature Design Summit sessions, DevOps and related OSS project discussions for developers and technical practitioners. Both Tuesday and Wednesday will kick off with keynote sessions in the ballroom, and then break into sessions for developers, users, deployers and technology partners. Thursday will wrap up with more Design Summit sessions, deployment and programming workshops. We expect attendance to be highest on Tuesday & Wednesday with the keynotes and broader topics covered, but everyone is welcome to attend all four days, particularly if you're looking for in-depth technical content.
We've also organized a volunteer charity event after things wrap up Friday morning in San Diego. It's a chance for the OpenStack community to give back and work together. REGISTER SEPARATELY HERE: https://openstack-beach-cleanup.eventbrite.com/
