Opening Reception of Sacramento's "Farm to Fork" Week with Ella Dining Room and Bar, Sterling Caviar, and the SCVB

Join Ella Dining Room and Bar, the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Sterling Caviar for the “Farm to Fork Week” Opening Reception on the River – featuring several local farmers and producers and celebrating 20 Years of locally raised Sterling Caviar – Friday, September 20th, 6:30-8:30pm at the Sacramento Water Intake Facility. Local food, wine, beer and fun on the river!
The Opening Reception of Farm to Fork Week will be held at the stunning Water Intake Structure on the Sacramento River, just minutes from Downtown Sacramento, from 6:30-8:30pm on Friday September 20th, 2013. Any proceeds will go to the California Food Literacy Center, a local non-profit serving children of the Sacramento region.
The “Farm to Fork Week” Opening Reception will feature the following local growers and producers, as well as Chef Randall Selland of The Kitchen, Ella, and Selland’s (Selland Family Restaurants,) and Chef Ravin Patel of Ella Dining Room and Bar as they celebrate 20 Years of Sterling Caviar, the highly lauded local purveyor of premium caviar. These amazing local growers and producers will all be on hand to meet and serve their food to guests at the reception event, which will be set up with stations featuring the following:

Meet the growers! Enjoy hors d’ouevres showcasing the ingredients from the above farms – prepared by the Ella team of Chefs and then delivered to the individual stations so that attendees can chat with our local heroes – the farmers, growers, brewers and producers themselves!
The Two Rivers Cider contribution for the evening will be a special effervescent cider specifically crafted for the Opening Reception event to pair perfectly with caviar (Please note this is a 21 and over event only.)
